I have written 2300 words of my first ever single title. The plotting is not all done, but I've got a pretty good sense of where I'm going in the first half and a decent sense of the plot in the second.What can I tell you? I'm a pantser and impatient to begin my character's journey.
It feels good to be writing again (not editing or revising or procrastinating).
I scored an editor appointment for National to pitch this project so I'm under the gun to get the story written.
I'm targeting first draft by the middle of July. Am I crazy? Nah, I wrote 2 50k word books in January and February. Word count is the same. And for me, very doable.
