Chugging along

Whoohoo, wrote 2000 words today. That's pretty good for me on a weekday. The book is flowing better than I expected in these early stages.

Loving the whole lets take our time setting up the story thing. In short contemporary, you have to hit the ground running. Here, I can play around with characterization more. Get a little caught up in the setting. Set up a couple subplots.

I've barely introduced the plot. I've got tons of characters that need to be introduced. And I'm not bored with the story yet. (I was a little worried that such a long book might put me to sleep before the first kiss.)

I'll keep you posted.

What's a good day for you writing wise? I know a few of you have participated in NaNo. Anyone able to keep up that pace for longer than a month?
