This week really kicked me in the butt. First my daughter was sick, high fever, coughing, etc. Then she gave it to me. She missed 3 days of school. I missed 1-1/2 days of work. Today I'm off to my chapter's conference and I'm really excited to see friends and hopefully win some of the fabulous raffle prizes. I'm also going to try for a critique on the silent auction if the prices don't go too high.
One of the things that's an eye opener is Wisconsin's Got Talent, a workshop where first pages are read out loud and commented on by an editor and agent. This year's participants are Laurie McLean and Hilary Sares. I'm throwing in my YA and I'll be curious how it gets received.
